HAN Awards of Excellence online! You can determine the winner Namibian accommodation establishments in general do not only strive to meet the needs and expectations of their guests, but also to exceed these by excellent surroundings and service. In an effort to support and promote these efforts, the Hospitality Association of Namibia (HAN) runs an annual HAN Award of Excellence competition to award the members deemed to be providing excellent service.
The evaluation of these establishments is done by the guests. In the past they were asked to complete a hard-copy questionnaire and send it to independent auditors for review and processing. As of 2010, this evaluation is done online after the journey, giving guests the opportunity to rate and evaluate the establishments where they stayed from the convenience of their home.
